I am a Black American millennial child of a Vietnam War Veteran father, an artist mother, and three Gen-X sisters;

I was born constantly seeing many perspectives aka I was misunderstood. I suppose this is why I had an affinity towards monsters. Why were they monsters? What made them monsters? Were they always monsters? This curiosity is what motivates my work and what motivates how I approach the work. I like to bring my light where the sun don't shine, allowing me to step into the shoes of a wide variety of characters...including the monsters.
